Strange Facts Of Life

Today I read some strange facts about our day to day life that most of us encounter but never really realize.

So, here are some of them:

· If you change your queue, the one you have left will start to move faster than the one you are in now.

· After your hands become coated with grease, your nose will begin to itch.

· Any tool, when dropped, will roll to the least accessible corner.

· When the body is immersed in water, the telephone rings.

· When you dial a wrong number, you never get an engaged one.

· The probability of meeting someone you know increases when you are with someone you don't want to be seen with

· Thirty-five percent of the people who use personal ads for dating are already married.

· Friends may come and go, but enemies accumulate.

· From the age of thirty, humans gradually begin to shrink in size.

· If you can see a rainbow you must have your back to the sun. If you don't, you can't see it.

· If you are locked in a completely sealed room, you will die of carbon dioxide poisoning before you will die of oxygen deprivation.

· Jet lag was once called boat lag, back before jets existed.

· Men leave their hotel rooms cleaner than women do.

· Months that begin on a Sunday will always have a "Friday the 13th.

· No matter its size or thickness, no piece of paper can be folded in half more than 7 times.

· Soda water does not contain soda.

· The microwave was invented after a researcher walked by a radar tube and a chocolate bar melted in his pocket.

· The sentence "The quick brown fox jumps over a lazy dog." uses every letter of the alphabet!

· Men’s shirts have the buttons on the right, while women shirts have the buttons on the left.

· The word “Naked” means, unprotected. The word “Nude” means unclothed.
